A note from Bob

It is always good to try something new and it be great fun.

When I decided to do water colours I began by reading it up and quickly found myself on an exciting and demanding learning curve. Art galleries had to be visited to see wonderful examples of the English water colourists art. Techniques had to be learnt and understood and tried out. Colours, pallets and brushes had to be chosen.

There followed lots of practice, trial and error, experiment, disappointment, successes. After a serious amount of time and effort I knew I was producing decent results and I had become an amateur artist.

Over five years I produced a lot of water colours and eventually I framed many of them.

I hope you like them and buy one or two. All the proceeds are going to St Mary's Church to help sustain our Christian ministry and mission in Hinckley and beyond.

Thank you
Bob Davies
